Not all modern-day baby stuff leads to clutter and overwhelm; some is game-changing when providing meaningful support to tired, new parents. Check out these five parent inventions!

Ann Crady Weiss and Dave Weiss, former BabyCenter leaders and husband-and-wife duo, followed their entrepreneurial calling to lighten the struggle around sleep. After Ann's restless nights with her first baby and Dave's battle with insomnia, they created a well-loved night light and sound machine that's now commonly ranked among the best baby products.

Co-founder Emilie Simmons is a coffee lover, mother, and biomechanical engineer. After seeing – and experiencing – the need to enjoy a guilt-free cup of joe, she created a meaningful solution with a line of low-acid, water-processed coffee designed meticulously for pregnant and breastfeeding moms.

We often hear about the benefits of skin-to-skin time with our babies, but baby clothing isn't designed to make this easy. That is until a social worker/mother of two decided to create this innovative skin-to-skin babywear!

Who says it's snaps vs. zippers? Both have their downfalls when it comes to dressing and diaper-changing your baby. Sara Parent, a mother of two, decided to create something better. This baby clothing line is completely fuss-free, using no snaps or zippers.

Fun fact: It's unsafe to dress your baby, toddler, or child in a jacket or coat when securing them in their car seat. This creates an awkward struggle on cold-weather outings, where parents are typically left to dress, undress, buckle, unbuckle, and redress. Dahlia Rizk, a mom of three, decided to simplify this safety issue with the world's first and only car seat-safe winter coat.
