Babies typically start gaining head control around 3 to 4 months of age. At this stage, they begin to strengthen the muscles in their neck and upper body, allowing them to lift and hold their head up while lying on their stomach or being supported in an upright position. Initially, their head control may be a bit wobbly, but with time and practice, they will become more stable and hold their head up for longer periods.
