If you suspect your baby is too hot, it’s best to validate with a thermometer to ensure they don’t have a fever. If they don’t have a fever but feel warm to the touch, try to dress them in light, breathable layers and keep the house between 69-72 degrees Fahrenheit. Babies can’t regulate their temperature like we can, and they can overheat more easily. If they’re too hot, they may have flushed, red cheeks and will be fussier. However, if they continue to overheat, they may turn pale and appear ill.
