During these early months, newborns become more engaged with the world around them. You'll notice your baby becoming increasingly alert and responsive by month two (in between all the feedings and naps, of course).

They may start to make cooing sounds and engage in adorable vocalizations, signaling their eagerness to communicate and connect with you.

Moreover, as your baby's vision develops and your bonds strengthen, they will become more attuned to their surroundings and react with delight when they see your face. Social smiles, or intentional smiles, emerge at this stage too!

This is a beautiful stage where you'll see hints of their unique personality shine through.
