No! Suppose you and your baby are successfully breastfeeding and don't have an immediate need for expressed milk. In that case, it’s generally advised to wait to pump until closer to 4 weeks postpartum, when your milk supply has regulated. Some moms also choose not to pump even after establishing their supply.
