How often should I bathe my newborn?

Full baths won’t happen until the umbilical cord stump has fallen off. Once that happens, you can begin full baths. It’s best to keep these to a few times per week as daily baths can dry out their sensitive skin. In between bath days, sponge bath lightly as needed.
